Garbage Bins Make Great Playgrounds – The 1st Towner Strip! (Colorized)
Here is the very first Towner comic strip ever drawn in 1997. It features Towner with one of his friends, Butski – a kid that has some odd habits, including hanging out in garbage bins.
This very 1st strip in the comic’s history was based on a similar joke to the very 1st Chrusher Comic (that basically is missing, confiscated by Oswego Middle School teachers in 1987, but this one from 1988 was a reprise or retelling of sorts).
Butski is a kids-sized version of a character of the same name in my own ChrusherComix.

This is the very first Towner comic I ever made. I basically took some of the more successful/beloved Chrusher Comix characters and kiddified them to see how the character dynamics play out as kids. I think it worked. Audiences however… seem to just pay it a passing glance and go.
